My name is Genevieve Guerra.  I am a physically disabled single  south Asian Canadian who at the age of 42 has been painfully aware of my race due to the white supremacy that has surrounded my life. So much so that it influenced my job choice - to become a secondary school teacher, where equity issues are at the heart of my curriculum.
